Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. DS Smith have teamed up with Fat Lad At the Back to raise money for Wooden Spoon, by taking on the TDF 2014 Grand Depart route in the form of 'Le Firkin Challenge', run by the Black Sheep Brewery in Masham 

This being a special year, when the greatest show on earth comes to Yorkshire, this years route is tougher than ever before, taking in over 100 miles and the 3 major climbs of the 1st stage of this years TDF, with an extra hill thrown in for good measure (even the Pros didn't want to do this one)

We band of brothers, who are a mixture of cyclists that are too old/young/heavy/light/unfit/fit/slow/fast (delete as appropriate) will toil up every gradient and grin like kids down every descent in order to make sure any money pledge is not taken lightly. 

Even if you think that this is just a load of blokes going out and doing something they enjoy, please consider giving any amount to Wooden spoon, as every donation is well received and I assure you that this is no easy task
