Story
As a retired GP Dad helped many people over the years. He loved what he did and went above and beyond when needed, always wanting to help. His religion was kindness and his ethos was to always give. Over the past 5 years Dad battled with cancer and then suffered with a stroke but it was pulmonary fibrosis that eventually stopped him in his tracks. People with this condition often say it feels like breathing through cling film. Despite these illnesses, he was always strong minded, resilient and made the most of what life had given him, always grateful for what he had. For this reason we would like to raise awareness for this charity so more research can be conducted to find additional treatments to tackle this condition.
