Story
David is running The Great North Run in memory of my sister. Lorraine was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme in May 2007. At the time she was given 6 to 9 months to live. Through her own courage and determination she lived 20 months and sadly passed away on 26th December 2008. It would have been Lorraine's 43rd birthday on Thursday 24th September, 4 days after The Great North Run.
I will always remember her bravery and fight for life. Even when diagnosed with a terminal illness she was determined to fight. I will never forget her smile and sparkly eyes. She is missed so much by so many people.
