We are raising £10,000 to fund water harvesting at the Children's home in Darjeeling.  The costs of buying water in Darjeeling are significantly high.  In order to have adequate water on site, catering for washing and hygiene needs of 100 young people and additional staff, we would like to offer the home some water harvesting facilities which are essential in providing a healthy environment for the children to learn.

This campaign is OPEN TO EVERYONE.  Please gather a group of friends, families, work colleagues etc and come up with an idea of how you can cover 10k....in the month of July.

For example this could be: 10k hike, cycle, swim, run or 10k lunges, sit ups, press ups or even 10k hrs exercising!  We welcome all your ideas and please do tell us what you all plan to do in the comments below! 

We are delighted to have received a grant of £3,100 from the United Nations Women's Guild for our water harvesting project and so we are are already closer to our target.
