Story
In May 2018 I cycled 408 miles around the perimeter of Northern Ireland, raising £2450 for Alzheimer's Society. I was joined along the way by my wife Linda and many other family and friends.
This year I have decided to stretch my legs a bit further and I have plotted a route which takes me through all 32 Counties of the island of Ireland. I will set off on Tuesday 9th July and I am allowing myself 7 days to complete the challenge. Planning my stops to see family on the way makes my last day the longest of the trip at 136 miles.
I would be grateful for any support, may it be by way of donation to Alzheimer's Society or if anyone would like to join me on the way round, the miles always pass a bit easier with good company.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
Thanks
Darren
