Story
As some of you may know, my amazing grandad died in June from prostate cancer. He spent his final twelve days at the Hospice in the Weald where as a family we were able to make the most incredible memories.
I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff and volunteers who not only ensured my grandad got his jelly and ice cream, visits from his dog, and saw the beautiful gardens with purple poppies but also supported us as a family providing food, drink, and a shoulder to cry on.
I am not a runner - I am very much a netballer - but I promised him we would give back to the Hospice who cared so deeply for him. For this reason I have signed up for the Richmond half marathon on September 11th with my wonderful friend Emma who will hopefully get me to the end!
It would mean the world to me if you could donate even the cost of a coffee (or beer!) to go towards this amazing charity.
if you have made it this far, fair play! only a click away now from donating!
