We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thank you for finding and visiting  my JustGiving page.  Those of you who know me personally know it has been a little over a year since the reality of Stroke impacted on my family. In that year I have been grateful for the support of the Stroke Association, from information to help filling out forms and on to groups and activities that help those recovering from or living with the consequences of stroke (and their families) adapt, move on and live.

Finding ways to get better, celebrating the small gains, learning it is allowable to laugh together.

The more that can be understood about stroke, both before to aid prevention, and after to aid recovery the better.

It is not an old peoples problem, not for having a stroke or for living with the results.
