Having not been on a bike for years prior to lockdown , the mountain bike came out of the shed. I started playing cricket at school and then my first club was Hornchuch Athletic. Around the same time I first went to see Essex CCC play. Over the years I have played and coached and coached at Witham CC and Little Baddow CC. I also had some enjoyable years playing for Long Melford CC. The aim is to cycle from Hornchurch to Long Melford in a day (6th August). The distance is about 60 miles. It would be great if you could spare a couple of quid for this good cause
