I never thought I'd be taking part in a Race for Life for someone I knew.

Now I'm doing it for myself, four days after my third round of chemotherapy.

This started as a personal challenge, something to keep me going through treatment. I wasn't going to fundraise, but now I think why not? If it wasn't for the money Cancer Research is provided with, I might not have a future. So, please dig deep if you can.

I know it's that time of year where there are loads of these events going on, so if you're already sponsoring someone, thank you! It all goes to the same place. I, for one, thank you from the bottom of my heart xxx
