6th September 2013,  marks the 18th Anniversary of my mum's end of life on this earth.

My mum Verona suffered with Breast Cancer.

In precious memory of my mum and in support of ths year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, I am doing a personal event to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Care.

Those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting me, I have had my locks for approximately 14 years.......

Memories of my mum and mentor are so very precious. Her Class, Words of Wisdom, Support, Care, Encouragement, Unconditional Love and Laughter made me the Lady I am today.

I am doing this in memory of my mum; to express my passion surrounding health awareness and wellbeing, and to help others who have been and who are affected by a loss, to come together sharing memories and supporting each other.

Breast Cancer Care offers a wide range of services to people not only affected by breast cancer, they give support and information to family and friends, healthcare professionals and anyone who needs information on any aspect of breast health at any time.

Funds raised for Breast Cancer Care;

Will help with providing information packs on breast cancer awareness, diagnosis, treatment, decision making and moving forward;

Enable patients and famiies to benefit from vital support.

My aim is to raise between £250-£500.  Anything above this amount will be a bonus.

I would also like to the take this opportunity to say a big Thank You to Morris Roots my very first Loctician:-). Thank you for the care and attention received over the years whilst maintaining my Locks.
