Story

Forge Europa is putting together a team of cyclists to undertake the gruelling Cumbria Way route from Carlisle to Ulverston on 3rd October 2010. The 100km+ ride across the beautiful English Lake District includes a number of “leg burning” climbs and is being attempted to raise money for two very worthwhile charities dedicated to hospice care; St Mary's Hospice and CAFOD. This Justgiving Page is dedicated to raising money for CAFOD only. If you want to donate to both charities please see my original email or contact me.

Please help us raise funds for bicycles (each bicycle costs £50) organised through CAFOD (Charity Number: 285776) for health care workers in rural Rwanda, Nigeria and Mozambique. These workers, who are often volunteers, administer medicines, support, food and nursing care to people in their own homes. They desperately want bicycles to enable them to support so many more people in need in rural areas.

Forge Europa is committed to giving 50% matched fund raising which means for every £1000 raised through sponsorship the company will donate a further £500.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
