2.3 billion people – one in three – don’t have access to a proper toilet. Many are forced to go in the open, spreading deadly diseases.
What would life be like without a toilet? Billions of people know only too well. A toilet is something everyone should take for granted – at home, school, work and in public places. It is a basic human right that protects people from dangerous diseases.
Croydex is raising money for WaterAid in a rather messy campaign that will see 11 of its employees scrambling over, under and through 20 toilet themed obstacles over a 10km course.
WaterAid is an international charity with a mission to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities.
