Story

Well......we did it.  16 miles, storm force winds and 6 hours later the Super Seven arrived in Nawton windswept but very satisfied that we had achieved what we had set out to do.  We left Malton at 9.40am and made it to the Golden Lion at Gt. Barugh by 11.40am.  May we thank the Golden Lion for a lovely lunch and warming fire which some of us would have quite happily stayed by all afternoon!

We set off again at 12.40pm and although the wind was behind us most of the way, as soon as we got onto the A170 it was straight into our faces.

We arrived in Nawton at 3.40pm.

For most of us it was the longest distance we have ever walked and although we had highs and lows, it was the thought of what we were doing it for that got us there.

We have raised an amazing amount, we think somewhere between £900 and £1,000 so THANK YOU to all who donated.

Merry Christmas and thank you again.
