Story

Dear friends,

Here's another adventure for a very good cause!! I have just participated on the Great North Run this year, supporting a charity named CICRA, which does a fantastic job for children with Crohn's disease! (See their work at http://www.cicra.org/index.asp)

Persistence, stubbornness, dedication, a dreamy head.. I'm not too sure what kept motivating me, but whatever it was, it really worked!! ;) I ran the half-marathon in 2:35:01! :))

Knowing that whilst doing this half marathon I was supporting such a great charity and helping them to help children really kept me going further and further!! Please help too, by sponsoring me. Any contribution you can give is extremely welcome and will certainly make a difference in the life of these children!!!

To donate, simply follow the link above. It is super easy, fast and secure. Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the charity (CICRA) and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Time is running fast, so please do sponsor as soon as you can! :) This account will soon be closed, unfortunately.

To know all about the Great North Run for future events, visit www.greatrun.org/

Thank you so much for your support and good energy!!!

Cristina Almeida :)
