This year on the 11th of February Father and daughter Kenny and Beverley will be swimming in the ice cold waters of the Skellefteå river in Swedish Lapland. The temperature could be -30 and the pool which is cut from the middle of the river is 4 lane and 25 meters long. Bev and Kenny are part of a 4 x 25m relay team. This is extreme winter swimming at its most dangerous and thrilling. Please support us in our efforts to help the Scottish Borders Charity 'The Difference' which is both local and very close to Beverley's heart as a working Midwife in the Borders. All the money raised will go directly to PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH which supports women and their families. The event will be streamed live and we will keep you informed of when and where.
