Story
The Christopher Wallace Cup is Cramlington Rockets’ annual charity day to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Christopher Wallace was one of the original Rockets when the club formed back in 2000. In 2012 he suddenly passed away at the age of only 25 due to a heart defect.
Christopher was the life and soul of the club and renowned for his pranks. With several of Christopher’s teammates still at the club, it is an occasion that means a lot to them.
In 2015, the aim is to beat last year’s total of £525.
The centre piece of the day is a series of exhibition matches between the club’s teams, which naturally results in some interesting competition between clubmates!
With players and spectators asked to make a donation on the day, there will be other fundraising activity between matches.
Please make a donation to help us reach our target. Money raised will go to the British Heart Foundation to fund life-changing research to combat the UK’s biggest killer.
Thank you for your support from everyone at Cramlington Rockets
