Story

FRIENDS, ROMANS, CORRIE FANS LEND ME YOUR PURSE!

My name is Craig Gazey and i play Graeme Proctor in Coronation street. I have been fortunate enough to be involved with The Tv Times, Leukaemia & lymphoma research running team for a couple of years now! The Team is a "Celebrity" (I hate that word!) Team set up to raise awareness of the charity through the media, runs and public events and attempting to attract people like you (Yes You!) to run for us and help raise much needed funds!  I have been lucky enough to run with an amazing set of people in numerous 10k's and half marathons all over the U.k and now i feel it's time to conquer the big one, The London Marathon!

Blood Cancers are the biggest Cancer killer for the under forties in the UK and is this is the only research charity aiming to fight them!

I am also raising money for this charity for two personal reasons.

The first for Clare Drogan a primary school friend who sadly died in our first year of high school, tragically prematurely taken by Leukemia! This was the first person that died in my life and being the same age, this has had such an effect on me and constantly reminds me that anything can happen and to live for now!

And the second in memory of Gavin Blythe who was recently taken by Lymphoma aged just 41. Gavin was an amazing man who also ran for this team and was the Producer of Emmerdale and worked on Coronation street for many years!

So, please give as little or as much as you like to help this amazing cause and feel free to come down and say hello!

I Can't Thank You Enough!

To Clare and Gavin!

Wish me Luck!xxx
