Some of you know that I volunteer for an amazing local charity called Orchyd.

Orchyd provide day trips and an annual 10 day summer holiday for disabled children aged between 8-12. These trips provide life enriching activities & care for the children as well as much needed respite for the parents.

All the trips and holidays are provided free of charge to the families involved and is completely run by volunteers. The Orchyd team consists of Dr's, nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists, other medical professionals and ordinary, untalented people like myself.

As the charity enters its 50th anniversary celebrations, we have an extra special holiday to Disneyland Paris booked for 8 disabled children in May this year. I will be accompanying the trip and have pledged to raise a small amount to help towards costs. I have already donated the £150 minimum we require per volunteer, but if any of my friends can spare even the smallest amount towards this amazing charity, It would make a huge difference to the children.
