Story

Make sure James Northern “covers”
his bet with Charley Hull

James Northern, Kettering Golf Clubs current Men’s Club Champion and Charley Hull one of the leading Lady Golfers of today have been long term friends and golfing partners at our Club learning and enjoying the game of golf from a very young age together.  It was for James that Charley asked Paula Creamer to sign a golf ball at her first Solheim Cup after successfully defeating her 5&4 in the final day singles.

Prior to Charley starting her final round at the Dubai
Ladies Masters needing a very good round to move up the leader board,
James tweeted, “if you shoot 65 or lower tomorrow I’ll do #kitoffbythetree at the club.”
Charley achieved a bogey free 65 to catapult her to 2nd  place.
To add to James woes Charley, on her Sky interview following her
remarkable final round, announced to the world James now had to cover the bet.

Whether it is nerves or the current cold weather, James has been a little shy in covering the bet, so to “motivate” him he has agreed!!! to do the deed in support of our Club Captains charity, Prostate Cancer UK.

Please ensure he cannot delay too long by contributing to this excellent cause of Prostate Cancer UK.  Your contributions will not only support a great cause but ensure he has no wriggle room.
Pictures of his kitoffbythetree challenge will be posted on @KetteringGolf once we have amassed a good total.
