I'm now an 11 year brain tumour survivor - after 3rd surgery I re-learnt to walk and then run- last year the challenge was 10K, foolishly this year I said I'd do the Leeds Half Marathon and the Great North run...Ian is doing a triathlon, the Leeds Half and the Great North AND the Yok marathon. Tom is doing junior runs... we all do parkrun each Saturday to help with training and then extra exercise/runs during the week...

Please dig deep for our local brain tumour charity, who are brilliant at supporting those of us with brain tumours and are funding a research lab at Jimmys to try to understand more about and find new treatments for brain tumours, more of which are diagnosed now than ever before...
