Story
I have decided to step out of my fitness zone a little and walk 500K in memory of oir daughter Amelia for Sara's 50 for 50 challenge between the 15th of January and the 26th of February. Which is roughly about 50miles per week.
Yes this challenge may be super easy for some of you, however this year following Amelia's death, I have become some what of a couch potato and haven't really done much walking. I also work 10 hours a day so I've been getting up earlier before work for a walk around the river to get the initial kilometres in.
Amelia's birthday is 1st of March, so a lovely wee challenge to get me back to at least a little bit of the person I was before she died, a lot of my friends and family will tell you I haven't really been that 'fun' this year, so hopefully this helps and a great way to start the celebrations for Amelia's short but very loved life.

Sara the CEO of SiMBA is 50 on the 26th February so I've joined her 50 for 50 challenge to help her to celebrate and to raise vital funds for SiMBA. This campaign is designed to encourage, motivate and inspire us all to stay healthy, promote wellness and help to ensure that SiMBA is here for many more years to come supporting those affected by the loss of a baby.I am one of only 50 fundraisers taking part in this challenge as SiMBA is a charity that is close to my heart and I am grateful for any donations at all that you can make to support me.
