I have been offered a great oppurtunity to run the Royal Parks half marathon to raise money for the Haileybury Youth Trust, on behalf of my house Bartle Frere. I have been training during summer and continue to do so untill race day which is very close. I would greatly appreciate any donations as this charity really does make a difference!
HYT supports sustainable development in Uganda by using environmentally friendly technologies. British volunteers (you!) & Ugandans work together improving lives, providing employment opportunity by constructing water tanks & low cost buildings & training young Ugandans in useful, practical skills. We provide a hand-up. In partnership with each ‘One Village’ community, and working with our trainee builders and our senior trainers, we undertake an environmentally-friendly programme of building and refurbishment of schools and other buildings that enhances health, sanitation and educational provision, providing opportunity.
