Story
The Rickshaw Run is a cross Indian race where contestants drive a rickshaw over 3500 kilometres from the north of India to the very south. Starting in the northern Indian town of Shillong and finishing in Cochin, we will have to navigate our way to the very south east of India by ourselves. Once the race is started no assistance is given from race organisers whatsoever. It will be an enthralling challenge.

Why are we doing this? First and foremost the challenge seemed like a once in a lifetime opportunity. But we also saw another opportunity. We want to use our adventure to make a contribution to the survivors of the devastating earthquake which killed over 8500 people in Nepal this year. We have decided to turn our adventure into a fundraising campaign.
We have set a target of raising €3000 for our chosen charity Concern Worldwide who was one of the first organisations to respond to the devastating earthquake.
We would like to stress that Myself, Domhnaill, James and Donal have covered the cost of our flights and will cover all expenses in India. Every euro we raise will go directly to Concern Worldwide.
