A bit about me...

A former infantry officer, I served in Afghanistan between 2009-10 in what was a particularly costly chapter of the campaign alongside some brilliant men and women. Since returning, I have come to appreciate the truly excellent work the Royal British Legion puts in for our veterans and families who need it, having seen them in action first hand. Everyone knows the Poppy Appeal; a poignant, humble tribute to the fallen that raises money every year between October and November, but the charity's work goes on 24/7, 365. 

Therefore, I ask you (yes you!) to dig deep and donate whatever you can as I try and do my bit to help the cause by putting some serious distance through my legs. So, you grab your wallet and I'll grab my trainers!
