Story
On the 27/10/21 my daughter was born weighing just 2.6lbs at just 27.2 weeks gestation.
Shortly after she was moved to the NICU ward. Something that I had never heard of before.
Starting her journey in the 'Red Room' straight from the Delivery Room, Moving through to the 'Blue Room'.
Connie is currently residing in SCBU 1 (Special Care Unit 1) hopefully moving through SCBU 2 & 3 very soon before leaving to go home with Mummy & Daddy
She is doing really well, that is thanks to the hard work the Doctors and nurses are doing day in, day out on the NICU ward within the Women's & Children's Hospital at Hull Royal infirmary.
We have never done anything like this before but speaking to the nurses whilst on the ward I was shocked at the daily cost of a baby on this ward.
The money raised will go directly to this ward paying for equipment, maintenance, nappies, premature baby growers and really personal touches like Santa's presents.
Please support not only my family but future families in this daunting journey.
Love From Adam, Megan & Connie
