This year I will be participating three runs:

1. Stroke Association 5k at Clapham Common 9th March

2. Colour 5k in Colchester 14th June 2014

3. London Pride 10k Date TBA.

In March 2011, my Nan, Maureen Coleman, sadly and suddenly passed away from a stroke, and I will be participating in the run and raising money in her memory.

The Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. It funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Life After Stroke Services.
