Silly welly walk, 9 March 2013

Story

I am fundraising for my local church, Lochgilphead Baptist Church. The church is very open and friendly and is very much involved in the community. There is regular children's outreach through Messy Church, Toddler Groups and Summer Holiday clubs, as well as many other events and groups. However part of the church building is aging poorly and is frankly inadequate for the needs of these growing ministries.

The church needs funds to put towards the building of a new extension, which will have better facilities so that we can continue to reach people in Lochgilphead.

I am going to be doing a sponsored Silly Welly Walk with some of the children from the church, including my own children, Josephine (5) and Lucy (2).  We will be getting dressed up in whatever silly clothes we can find and putting on our wellies for a funny muddy walk up Dunadd Fort on Saturday 9th March.

Please help us find funds for a new building at the church so that we can invite even more of our friends to our favourite church event - Messy Church!  Thank you!
