Story
You've heard of "the 12 days of Christmas".. now Colin Shaw and some of his close friends are committing to "12 days of purgatory"! From 20 March 2017 until midnight on 31 March, not a drop of alcohol will pass our lips!
For some of you, this may not sound like a very difficult challenge - but this team is no ordinary one, consisting of Colin and all the Galbraiths - Karen, Roger, Danielle and Lydia. Given our normal level of social engagement, you will hopefully realise how difficult this will be for us all and hopefully give generously to reflect the very steep hill we will be climbing throughout those 12 days!
In addition, Roger and Lydia have committed to 12 hours of physical exercise at Roko Health Club during the same period. (Don't worry, doctor's appointments have also been made for Roger from Day 2 - just in case!)
All proceeds from this "12 Days of Going MaD" will continue to Make a Difference to Cancer Research UK in memory of Tracy Shaw, who left us too early on 17 March 2016. Thank you so much.
