Story
I managed to complete the marathon in 4 hours 48 minutes and 27 seconds, after suffering a sore knee around mile 16 and having to slow down.
Delighted to finish and to raise so much money for a great charity. Thank you all for your very kind donations - both Down's Syndrome Scotland and I very much appreciate it.
On Sunday 25th April I'll be running the London Marathon for the second time.
I'm hoping to raise money for Down's Syndrome Scotland, who do a huge amount of work in Scotland to help people with Down’s syndrome reach their full potential by providing information and support to them, their families, carers and professionals.
This charity means a lot to me after Jemma's little brother Finley was born with Down's Syndrome. He's a great little boy who has a whole life ahead of him, and the charity I'm running for will help him, and others, to achieve all he can.
I've seen first hand the support network that Down's Syndrome Scotland are able to provide to families and it's important they receive funding to allow them to continue to support many other families and individuals.

I've not set a fund raising target, but I know from experience that every single pound that people are kind enough to donate will help give me the motivation I need to finish the marathon.
