We are a father and son team who have decided to run the Liverpool Marathon (this is Colin's first Marathon since 1998!) in order to raise money for a great charity that supports traumatised children and young people. We are specifically running for the new North West office, based in Skelmersdale.

Colin, on why they are fundraising –

I have worked with Bereaved children and families for many years and it’s a great honour to be able to raise funds for Jigsaw4u North West, a charity with whom I have been working closely. My son has always shown a keen interest in my work and jumped at the chance to help raise some much needed funds for the charity. What makes it worthwhile are the children and families that we are privileged to meet at such a difficult time, we bring groups of children together with their family and it is truly amazing how it all works.

It's great to have Jack join me in supporting this fantastic cause.

Colin is a trained palliative care nurse and Jack, his son, has just found out he gained entry to UCLan, the University of Central Lancashire, to study Geography.
