Dear friends and relatives me and my team (2 R WELSH Det) are doing a charity event on 24 Apr 13 to raise some money for St Oswald's Hospice, based in Gosforth Newcastle. St Oswald's Hospice provides specialist care to adults, children and young adults across the north east, giving respite care and also a comfortable and warm place for people with terminal illnesses.

For this event we are completing the return distance from Tidworth to Newcastle by either bike/treadmill/x-trainer a total distance of 992km and a 300km row which is the length of the River's Swale, Tyne & Wear
