Hi everyone! As most of you know, I've been living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam since April 2013. It's been quite an adventure, but I'm ready for something even more thrilling than weaving through traffic on my motorbike and playing 'guess the mystery meat' at the many street food stalls. So, for the month of April (27 days to be exact) I'll be cycling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (1,200 miles) to raise money for 5 different local charities that support the growth and education of underprivileged children throughout Vietnam.

Unfortunately, I've seen far too many young children selling candy and lottery tickets on the streets (a lifestyle that is very hard to break out of) instead of getting an education and enjoying the freedom of childhood. Saigon Children's Charity is breaking this cycle of poverty by providing scholarships, building schools and running a vocational school here in Saigon.

KOTO Saigon, one of the other charities we support, provides hospitality training for disadvantaged youth. H2H pledges to raise enough money to pay tuition for 2 children to complete the training program.

100% of your donations will support the SCC and the 4 other charities we are riding for (links below). The H2H team pays for all personal expenses (food, accommodation and bike equipment) so you REALLY will be making a huge difference by donating. The average monthly income is about 150USD, so really, no amount is too small.
