Story

'Thank you' for visiting the  'Absolutely Average Cycling Club's - Coast, Cakes & Castle's 2010'  fundraising page.
On the 3-5th September a 'team' of family and friends of Chris Barber are to cycle the Coast and Castles route from Edinburgh to Newcastle in aid of St Teresa's Hospice, Woodland Road, Darlington where Chris was cared for by his wife Ann, family members & staff of the hospice, before he sadly died, after a short illness on the 5th April 2009.
As many of you will know, one of Chris favourite saying's was 'Absolutely Average' and after last years 'Absolutely Average C2C Tour 2009' we thought that Chris would have been Absolutely 'proud' of us all and decided that we should challenge ourselves once again, in his memory, this time cycling 200+ miles from Edinburgh to Newcastle.
if you want to keep up to date with how we are doing visit : www.absolutelyaveragecyclingclub.co.uk
Any support will be welcome on the route on the weekend .
All donations made on this site will go direct to the hospice, but please, remember to leave a message if you do donate.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us : St Teresa's  Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
