Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Myself (Darren), Bob and Cameron are doing a coast to coast cycle in order to raise funds and awareness for Scottish Autism, a charity which provides support and services for autistic children and adults in Scotland.

The cause is an important one for us, as my son Rory and Cameron's nephew Joshua are both on the Autistic Spectrum. We can see the difficulties they face on a daily basis with learning and communication.

Scottish Autism is an organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of people with autism. Established in 1968 by a group of parents, they are now the largest provider of autism-specific services in Scotland and a leading authority and advocate for good autism practice.

They exist to help those diagnosed with autism to lead full and enriched lives and become valuable members of the community they live in.

They also seek to share knowledge and expertise with parents, carers and other professionals in order to support the development of skills and strategies needed to provide the best care and support for people with autism.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
