We Are With You is a charity that offers free confidential support to anyone experiencing problems with drugs, alcohol or mental health.

They have a free webchat helpline where you can speak to a trained counsellor (see website above) and they run 80 centres across England and Scotland where people can go to receive support with with their drug and alcohol use or mental health. Recovery workers get to know each service user individually, providing a personalised treatment plan that treats the individual as a person, rather than as a ‘problem’ to be solved. 

They provide support using a mixture of digital and physical tools, including via video, texts, phone calls and mailing out resources. Their support and mutual aid groups, usually held in person within their services, currently take place online, and they now also have a national online support group people can sign up to via the webchat service. One to one sessions with recovery workers, practitioners and therapists still take place in person where needed for people’s care, and many of their services are also now offering ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions to meet clients who may not feel comfortable meeting indoors during the pandemic.

A donation of just £8.40 will pay for an online counselling session with one of their trained advisers. 

£18 can save someone's life by providing an naloxone kit which can reverse the effects of an overdose.

£40 can pay to deliver prevention work in a school assembly or worksop.

£100 will guarantee a person 10 hours worth of specialist work with one of their trained professionals.

£453 can provide one person with all the support they need to recover from problems with drugs, alcohol or their mental health.
