Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In August 2012 Jackie Orme aged only 46 sadly passed away after fighting pancreatic cancer for 12 months, leaving behind two young girls who used to be at school with my daughter. This strain of cancer is particularly severe and something which does not have such a high profile as breast or prostrate cancer and is far harder to treat. Jackie's widower David is making an enormous effort to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research in Jackie's memory by enlisting nearly 200 of his friends and colleagues to run the bath half and to raise awarness and funds for this silent killer, something with which I am pleased to participate and help.
