Story
Thank you all so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
If you know me at all, you will know I am not a runner. I find it extremely challenging and if I'm honest, a little boring. When I first applied for the London Marathon I never thought in a million years I would be accepted, but here we are. The realisation of what I've gotten myself into still hasn't sunk in. So why I am putting myself through this momentous task? Well for charity of course!
After my mother Elena and I raised just under £2,000 skydiving in May 2015 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, I knew I had to keep going. And what better way to bring everyone's attention to such a worthy cause?
I'm running the London Marathon for The Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity very close to my heart. So pretty please dig deep into those pockets and donate whatever you can. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make such a difference to a young person with cancer.
I can't even imagine how hard running 26.2 miles is going to be. And I'm guessing the training is only going to be ever harder! But what is pushing me is that this is nothing in comparison to the challenges faced by the young patients in Teenage Cancer Units every single day. Each and every one of them is an inspiration and their bravery is immense.
Please help me reach my target of £5,000 and sponsor me on this crazy mission of mine to run 26.2 miles.
Let the training commence!
