Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Clare spent her final days at Hayward House where she and her family were shown so much care, love and support. That’s why we’re embarking on Clare’s Climb on 11th
June in support of the new Hayward House Appeal!
We are 30 friends, family and loved ones who have come
together to do something out of our comfort zone to raise money for a cause that helped Clare so much in her last few months with us.
We’ll be spending the weekend in Snowdonia, which will include a hike up Mount Snowdon. Clare would be super proud of us all doing something of this enormity. Her passion for fitness and all things ‘Boot Camp’ were synonymous with her and although a hike up a mountain would probably not be her fitness class of choice, the vodka and diet coke party we will all have at the top is where she would choose to be.
We’re aiming to raise £13,500 to help fund enhancements to
the Hayward House garden. These include the installation of a pergola, contemplation zone and creating more accessibility for patients so they can enjoy special moments with their loved ones.
Your donations will help us every step of the way in our
climb to the top of Mount Snowdon and help fund enhancements that will enable patients and their families to spend more quality time together in the garden.
We can’t express to you how much it means to know that we
are going to have another opportunity to celebrate the life of beautiful Clare whilst raising money for a very important cause. If you would like to read more about Clare’s story, written by Adam, please follow this link: Adam Doran is
