Hi I hope everyone is having a lovely new year so far. I’ve wanted to try to start of the new year with something that I feel is not only an important topic to raise awareness about but also a great cause to donate to. When being aware that someone close to me had went through a traumatic time nobody helped them more than the people at STAR and seeing this person grow stronger and stronger over the months has been the most inspiring thing to witness. STAR is a sexual assault crisis centre who help people from the ages of 12-18 who have suffered from assault. This is a topic which is difficult to talk about yet STAR have managed to help my friend in a number of different ways and I am so thankful they could help them piece their life back together. However of course I knew I needed to do something in return if you could manage to donate SO I will be hosting a Facebook live on the 31st of January at 7PM and I will be taking suggestions for 7 songs to learn and sing for you all (I bet most of you have never heard me perform before 😉) I’m wanting to lift everyone’s spirits up from this while hopefully also raising money for this amazing charity. Any donations would be so greatly appreciated and hopefully you can enjoy a little performance from it 🙂
