Story
This June it will be 5 years since my husband Steve underwent a successful bone marrow transplant.
He was diagnosed with acute leukaemia in January 2010 when we were expected our 3rd child. He was admitted to Eden Ward and was treated for 6 months with chemotherapy.
The docs and nurses were, without exception, caring, compassionate and highly competent. They demonstrated all that is excellent about our healthcare system.
They cared for us as a family and saved my husbands life and I will be forever grateful to them.
I want to raise some money so that the staff of Eden ward may have all that is necessary to continue to provide the same level of care for all the future patients and families who need them.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
