My whole world was turnt upside down this year when I sadly lost my mum, Jane Sinfield, to liver cancer on 13th July, 2013. Our battle with this disease was short and intense but full of love, laughter and tears.

I always told my mum I would never do a race for her. She could totally forget me raising money by doing anything that involved me getting my bottom off the sofa! So, how come I'm doing this then? Well, cancer is a silent killer that rips families apart from the day the dreaded word is spoken. But I want people to live in hope that we will one day find a cure or method of prevention to combat cancer.
