Alzheimers is a horrible disease, you have to watch someone close to you drift further away each day. When I visit my Grandma her eyes light up but the sadness on her face gives it away. She doesn't know who I am!

It hurts to see a strong and loving person so vacant and dependant on others.

In doing this parachute jump I feel like I can do something to help my Grandma and this amazing charity who give so much to help sufferers and their carers.

There are currently 700,000 people with dementia in the UK and it is predicted that there will be over a million people suffering with dementia by 2025.
