15/10/10: Arrrgggg - D-Day is nearly here. I'm really nervous, but excited too. My injuries seem to have faded to dull aches just in time, and whilst I haven't trained as much as I'd hoped in these last few weeks, I feel much more confident again now. I'm looking forward to getting out there with the 14,999 other runners, and doing my best. Thank you all so much for your generous donations, it's great to feel I've got so much support.
I'll let you know how it goes!

In September 2009 I ran my first ever race, the Cardiff HSBC 10k. I raised over £200 for Kidney Wales which was fantastic.
Now I am undertaking a new challenge, the Cardiff 2010 Half Marathon, which is a week tomorrow (Gulp!),and I've been struggling with injury. I've had physio and bought new trainers, and have so far run a rather poor total of 7 miles this week.
I'm feeling really nervous because of this, as my training was going really well until early September. But I'm going to do my best, and hope that I can at least make it to the finish line, even if I have to walk.
