Hi Everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This September I have been lucky enough to get a place on the Swim to Bestival Team. Bestival is a music festival that takes place on the Isle of Wight and each year a group of 12 people swim the 3.5 miles(or maybe more depending on the tide!) from the south coast of England over to the Isle of Wight. 

Since I found out that I'd been bumped up the reserve list and was acutally going to be taking part in the swim, I've dusted off my swimming goggles and have been hitting the various pools in east London. Next, I'm planning on training in the sea, albeit in Majorca (where obviously it'll be slightly warmer than the Solent!).

We are each allowed to select the charity that we complete the swim for and I have chosen Cancer Research because everyone is touched by cancer at some point in their lives. I couldn't think of a more worthy cause that I would feel proud, inspired and motivated to complete this challenge for.

I would appreciate any donations that you were able to give to help me reach my target and help make a fantastic contribution to the work that Cancer Research are able to do.
