Hi All

So in April this year, I am attempting to run the Paris Marathon, yes all 26.2 miles of it!

I am hoping to raise money for a charity called KOP, standing for Kenyan Ophan Project. I have chosen to raise money for these guys because I am going out to Kenya this summer as a volunteer for 2 weeks to make sure this money is put to good use! In Kenya, we will be helping build a school, teaching english and lending a hand in afeeding centre for ophans. This charity does fantastic work out in Kissumu, Kenya, and any money we can give them, goes straight to looking after the children out there. (Don't worry, nothing goes towards my trip out there!)

Training has of course started, and with the snow recently, its been rather challenging! But somehow I am slowly managing to clock up the mileage and am slowly but surely progressing towards the marathon distance mark. And best of all, no injuries yet! (fingers crossed!)
