Story
In September last year my Sister was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. She has since had major surgery and just had her third round of chemotherapy. The care she has received at The Royal Marsden has been, and continues to be, truly amazing.
On March 10th, I will be walking 15 miles between the two hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton to help raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Since The Marsden March started in 2011, it’s raised more than £10 million which goes towards improving the lives of everyone affected by cancer.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
