Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ataxia-Telangiectasia (“A-T”) is a rare, neurodegenerative and progressive condition which starts in early childhood causing severe disability and premature death. It affects many parts of the body robbing the child of his/her independence. A wheelchair is needed usually by the age of ten.

In August 2010,  Conor Fox a 12year old boy was diagnosed with a very aggressive non-hodgkins lymphoma. He battled this rare cancer for 4 months but sadly on the 21 December 2010 he lost his battle with A-T and his cancer.

In the spirit of Conor, we aim to raise as much awareness and funds for the A-T Society as we can. The girls will be running/walking/jogging the flora mini marathon, and the boys will be running the great London run and the Dublin marathon.

Thanks for all support in advance!
