In a moment of madness last year I signed up to complete the Belfast Marathon! Anyone that knows me well, will know that this is a massive challenge for me! Luckily in another moment of madness wee Rachael Semple has agreed to join me!

I am running to raise money for Childline, it's a really great charity and having volunteered for them over the past year I am aware of how important the work they do really is. I was so naive when I started the Counselling training and thought, 'this stuff doesn't really happen, there's no way people could do such terrible things to children'. But unfortunately I was very wrong and it happens so much more than I could have imagined. Childline is there 24/7 to listen and support young people through some extremely difficult situations.

So please please donate whatever you can and get yourself to Belfast on the 6th of May to cheer me on/give me a piggy back over the finish line!!
