We raise awareness of AIDS through cricket to strengthen communities and fight disease

Story

My friend Chris Hendry is going to Botswana with a team from Cricket Without Boundaries and I want to raise funds to help his group make a difference in Africa.

Cricket Without Boundaries (CWB) is a UK cricket development and AIDS awareness charity. It is run almost entirely by the dedication and enthusiasm of its volunteers. Since its formation in 2005 CWB has become one of the world's leading Cricket Development and AIDS awareness charities. It is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket.

Having a passion for cricket and coaching kids, with a social conscience about the spread of AIDS, this charity does a good job in a way I can relate to.  As I'm not going to Africa (too many bugs) this is my way of contibuting.  Please dig deep and help!

About the charity

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.
