We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We will be doing the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes again this year.  Last year we raised over £600 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which all went towards research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes - the one thing that people like Cesca and Jake wish for every day.

Since last year's walk, the way we treat Cesca and Jake's diabetes has changed dramatically.  Instead of four injections each per day, they now both use insulin pumps, which has helped us to gain much better control over their diabetes.  It is still very hard work for them, and for us, but it's a big improvement.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
